CSS International Corporation
Vance Coulston, President of CSS International, recently announced that 2020 marked the 75th Anniversary year for the company.
The President of CSS International announced that the company will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2020. Located in Philadelphia, the company was established just one month after the end of World War II.
Herbert V. Coulston, Fred G. Shutz and Harry F. Speth purchased a 10,000 square foot manufacturing plant to start a tool and die business. The company has moved twice since and currently occupies a 28,000 square foot headquarters building in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.
During the late ‘70s, the company moved into precision timing screws and manufacturing. “Today our timing screws, feed systems, change parts, bottom code/inspection diverters, lane combiners/diverters, product orienters, side grip belt units, and vacuum reject systems are used by packaging companies around the world”, stated Mr. Coulston.
“Drawing on our company’s tool and die heritage, CSS International has strong engineering capabilities for OEM applications. The company has been established longer than any of our competitors. Our debt-free structure and excellent supplier relationships ensure timely and trouble-free operation for components manufactured for our customers,” Mr. Coulston concluded.
With 75 years of manufacturing experience, CSS International looks forward to providing conveyor system solutions in the future for the global packaging market.
